Yesterday's update didn't publish, so you get two today! Don't forget, the campaign closes in less than a week!
Obviously we have the endorsement of Loki the Wolfdog. He did help design the bed, after all. But we've also gotten A+ ratings from all the dogs in our office.
But dogs aren't the only ones noticing how great this bed is. We've also been featured in Outside Magazine and Gear Junkie.
From Outside: Technical blanket maker Rumpl teamed up with Instagram’s most famous adventure dog, Loki the Wolfdog, to combine the best aspects of a bed and blanket into something you can easily take with when you travel.
From Gear Junkie: In terms of packability, it’s definitely lighter and more packable than other dog beds. The small and large blankets pack down to just 8 and 10 inches tall, respectively.

Just like all our puffy blankets, the Travel Dog Bed includes a stuff sack. The stuff sack helps the Travel Dog Bed pack down as small as possible, so you can bring it with you anywhere. And if you haven't noticed, the stuff sack features a print of Loki's fur, so you can bring a little piece of your favorite Wolfdog everywhere without the shedding.
We've also created a separate sack for the inflatable mattress, so it is also easy to pack down carry everywhere. Both stuff sacks also features a carabiner so you can clip it to your pack, your dog's pack or just make sure it doesn't roll away in your van.
The Stuff Sack may not seem like a major feature, but it is critical for packability and portability. Trust us, you'll love this thing.

Let's face it, dogs can sometimes stink. And if your dog stinks - that means their beds often stink too. We wanted to create a dog bed that could fight that funk. After all, you're not going to want to take the Travel Dog Bed anywhere if it is going to stink up your van/car/carry on, etc. We applied an anti-microbial finish to both sides of the Travel Dog Bed to help ward off any stink your dog would otherwise leave behind. So whether your dog prefers the cozy indoor fleece side or the more rugged "everywhere" side of dog bed, you can be confident that it wont accumulate smells over time.

It is crazy portable!
If you're going to call something a "Travel Dog Bed," it better live up to its name! This is the feature we're most excited about, and we feel it is the one that sets it apart from any other dog bed on the market. Not only is it super compact, but it is lightweight as well. This means wherever you and your dog adventure together, the Travel Dog Bed can come along. And we don't just mean outdoor adventures! This is also compact enough to fit into a carry on bag. So if you're flying with your pup, they'll have a comfy dog bed when you get to your destination. The days of lugging an oversized dog bed around or asking your dog to sacrifice their comfort are officially over!

Hi everyone,
Wanted to shoot you a quick update before the holidays. Since launching the Kickstarter we've been hard at work finalizing the details of the Loki x Rumpl Travel Dog Bed, and we have one exciting change to share! We've been looking for a 100% Post Consumer Recycled fleece to replace the sherpa (which is not made from recycled material). It was important to us that the fleece was just as cozy and durable as the sherpa; we wouldn't make this swap if we weren't confident that it would make the bed better. The great news is we were able to source a super cozy fleece that is MORE durable and made from 100% PCR material, which means that the entire shell of the dog bed is made from recycled material. We're pretty stoked about this change, and we think you will be too.
