With one day left of our campaign (!!!) we wanted to focus on arguably the most innovative feature of the Travel Dog Bed: The self-inflating insert. We took inspiration from the camping mat a lot of us already owned.
We worked hard to find the right air to foam ratio so that we could offer your pup maximum comfort, while still hitting the packability and light-weight targets we had in mind. When inflated, it gives the Travel Dog Bed the perfect amount of cushion in an equally packable package.
While the Stuffable Dog Blanket can be used on its own, we think the self-inflating insert makes it a perfect crash pad for your pup.

We wanted to make a dog bed that would work anywhere you needed it while still being as comfortable as possible. That means from the couch, to the back of the car to the campground, and everywhere in between. That means it needed elements that were plush and cozy for indoor use. And more rugged and durable features for everywhere use. To truly achieve this best-of-both-worlds bed, we knew it had to be reversible.
One side features recycled polyester that is DWR coated. So it repels dirt, stains, pet hair, drool or anything else your dog can throw at it. The other side is a recycled fleece, giving your dog a cozier more plush experience. Both sides are coated with an anti-microbial treatment to fight any odors your dog would otherwise leave behind. And regardless of which side of the bed you or your dog prefers, the inflatable insert fits inside to make it a comfortable crash pad.

Here at Rumpl we try to use Post Consumer Recycled material whenever we can. In 2019 we overhauled our entire product line to incorporate reclaimed water bottles into our blankets, insulation, stuffable pillowcases, ponchos and more. When designing the Travel Dog Bed we wanted to take the same approach. We even continued searching for the perfect recycled fleece after the campaign launched, so that the entire Stuffable Dog Blanket would be made from PCR materials.
We're always looking for new opportunities to incorporate PCR materials in our products. We want to make products that we feel good about, and our consumers (and their pups) can feel good about buying.

This isn't really a feature, but once you give your dog their own Rumpl, they are almost sure to relinquish the one the stole from you. If you have a dog and a Rumpl, you know this is a problem.
